The theme :
The theme "Heritage and education: learning for life!" will illustrate - in a friendly and fun way - the potential of heritage as a learning tool and source of inspiration for the future.
For a weekend, everywhere in France, public and private owners of historical monuments, members of heritage protection associations, heritage curators, restorers of heritage goods and objects, cultural mediators, chief architects of historical monuments… are mobilized to enhance heritage in all its forms (material, immaterial and natural).
A specific program in line with the national theme of these 37th European Heritage Days: “Heritage and education: learning for life! Will be organized throughout the weekend.

Commented crossing of the canalization of the Pont du Gard, masterpiece of a fifty-kilometer aqueduct that supplied water to the thermal baths and fountains of Nîmes during its Roman splendor. At the end of the Gardon gorges, it is almost fifty meters high that a mediator invites you to discover the water pipe of the Pont du Gard, the real raison d'être of this majestic work of art dating back to 2000 years.
